Passport

It goes without saying that a passport is important when traveling abroad, but in India you cannot stay at a hotel without presenting your passport. You will also be required to present your passport for identification when boarding the train.

Please be careful as there are many cases where you forget your passport when purchasing a SIM card upon arrival at the airport.

To apply for an Indian visa, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months as of the date of entry into India, and must have at least 2 blank pages.

Flight Tickets

In India, you will be required to present your flight ticket and ID (passport for Japanese nationals) when entering the airport, so we recommend that you bring a printed version of your flight ticket. Although you can present it on your mobile screen, it is safer to have a printed version to avoid any trouble.

At the entrance, we check the date, flight number, passenger name, etc. If you cannot present this information on your ticket, you will not be able to enter the airport.

Eating at medicine

Stalls can often cause stomach upset, so we recommend that you bring your own medicine with you from Japan.

In addition to hygiene, stress and fatigue from traveling and suddenly eating a lot of spicy food that you are not used to can also cause stomach upset, so please be careful.

Credit Cards

When using credit cards in India, fees of 3% to 6% are often added. Visa and Master cards are more convenient, as they have lower fees than American Express cards.

When using the service, if possible, ask someone to slide your card into the terminal in front of you (some models allow you to insert it) and check the amount. Be sure to get a copy of your card usage.

Currency exchange

Stalls can often cause stomach upset, so we recommend that you bring your own medicine with you from Japan.

In addition to hygiene, stress and fatigue from traveling and suddenly eating a lot of spicy food that you are not used to can also cause stomach upset, so please be careful.
